Why's there a message in the message box that says "username has left the chat"?
The chatter whose username is before "has left the chat" has closed the page the chat is on.

Why's there a message in the message box that says "username has joined the chat"?
A new chatter whose username is the word before "has joined the chat" has come to the page the chat is on. Say hello the the new chatter by messaging "Hello @username!"

Why's there a message in the message box that says "You have been banned from posting messages"?
That means exactly what is says. If you used a bad word in a message, you will be banned for two days. If you were manually banned, you will be banned for 10 minutes. If you posted more than 30 times in a minute, you will be banned for 1 minute for being too "chatty". Please note: The office and porch do not have this restriction.

How do I flag a message to be looked at by the owner of the Chat House?
If you see a mean/offensive message, or a message that breaks the Chat House Rules, please do not send an offending chat message back. Send this message in the chat room where the offending message is:
FLAG: @UsernameOfTheAuthorOfTheOffendingMessage messaged: offending message here
@The_Housekeeper will look at your message and send you a message. If @Min Sullivan deletes the offending message she will delete your FLAGging message as well. @The_Monitor will deal with the offending message's author as she sees fit.
