The Difference (a peek at 6th grade math)

Dedication: For my friend.   I (Mathematicus, a.k.a. Mathematikos) love angle bisectors (and line bisectors), which I learned about in 6th grade.  I also love fractions.  I love especially changing a decimal into a fraction or percent, or vice versa. But this blog post is not about anything but fractions.  I like multiplying fractions, and dividing them especially.  😀  This is about subtracting fractions, though. The subtraction of fractions (you’ll be learning that in 6th […] Read more »

Photoshop911, Part One

Welcome to Photoshop911 (Adobe Photoshop)!  Welcome!  Did I just say that twice? If you need simple Photoshop help, here is the place to get it! What are quick keys, you ask?  Quick keys, found in all or almost all the programs out there that I know of, are a combination of keys held down and pressed at the same time (or, in some programs such as Photoshop and Illustrator, one key).  When you go to […] Read more »

Prepositions, Four Boys and a Box

What are your favorite three words, and why? Read more »

Two Riddles

I can regenerate, but only some parts. I’m not a he or a she. I can’t think thoughts. I can be short, or three feet long! What am I? I am an earthworm.   I can have five to fifty arms. I have no […] Read more »

Word Searches vs. Number Searches

I like and reccomend number searches more than word searches.  Why?  I will tell you.  Word searches are fun, but you never know what words are going to be used, unless you made the word search yourself (in Wordforge or something).  With number searches, though, it’s all going to be numbers, so you will have no problems at all!  And with number searches, you have to keep numbers in your head, and I can do […] Read more »
