Horsefeathers, book review

I really enjoy reading the book by Dandi Daley Mackall called Horsefeathers.  It’s about a fourteen-year-old girl named Sarahh Coop (Scoop for short).  She was adopted, but then her adoptive parents died.  So her aunt comes to live with her and her little brother, B.C..  When the farm her grandfather owns is in danger of being used as land for Dalton Stables, Scoop must find a way to save it, and her beautiful horse, Orphan.  But how can Scoop save the farm?

When Grandad Coop comes to live with her family, life seems like it is going to be unbearable!  Grandad Coop has never let her forget about the time she was caught shoplifting several years back.

Read this exhilarating book to find out what will happen!

The book says that it is for teenagers, and that the ages of interest are 12-16.  But I do not agree.  I think even a ten-year-old would like this book if they loved horses.  I rate this book with a “G”, which means “good”.
