Mirror, Mirror on the Wall, a book review

This book by Barry Denenberg is a fictional book about a girl named Bess who went to Perkins School for the blind in the year 1932.  She was just blinded in an accident, and must find a way to live her life.  At Perkins, she learns how to read and write Braille, and get around on her own.  A special friend named Amanda gives her survival tips, and helps her adjust to her new life.

I rate this book “G”.  I liked it very much.
