The Pig in the Pond, by Martin Waddell, is a very funny and entertaining picture book. It’s about a pig that is very hot one summer day, and wants to join the ducks and geese that are in the pond, and are cool. But pigs don’t swim – or do they?
This book is very comical, and I love the illustrations. I rate this book “G”, meaning good. It’s good for all ages. I have also given it the Oldberry Award of the month.
